Parents Meeting
On Tuesday, we held our parent meeting in order to update the parents on what’s going on. The biggest thing discussed at the meeting is that we NEED parent mentors to volunteer at our VEX event. Parents are necessary as our inspectors, judges, referees, operators for the audio/video, and parents to run concessions, registration, and the silent auction.

Electrical Meeting
If you are interested in attending the electrical meeting, please come! The meeting will be next Wednesday, November 6th at 5:15; it will be on battery safety. On of our mentors and a parent of one our students will be teaching; Mr. Webb.

T-Shirt Bot
This Friday, the t-shirt was finally established as completed! This incredible robot was named KTash after our departing principal Dr.Kevin Tashlein. The robot was shown to him Friday evening at 6 PM, and was publicly unveiled at the football game! The spectators at the game screamed and cheered for a t-shirt to be fired at them, while others simply marveled at the creation; this truly shows the value of our many months of hard work and dedication.

Hull Middle School Mentoring
This is now our 8th week volunteering at the middle school! The experience is incredible, and we couldn’t be any luckier to have this opportunity..

Rockwell Automation Video Grant
A huge thanks to Aakash Patel for heading this project and getting everything done in one day! This was a video grant in which a few of our members submitted a video for a grant that Rockwell Automation is sponsoring.

We have made good progress and teams are nearing completion. Most robots are looking the way they were envisioned! Our engineering notebooks up-to-date. The competition is nearing; now less than a month away!
